A special edition single malt whisky from English distillery, The Lakes.

This bottling forms part of the Whiskymaker’s Reserve range, each expression in this series has been matured in sherry casks, and is playing its part in “defining a house style” for the distillery. No. 3 has been matured in a combination of PX, Oloroso, Cream sherry and red wine casks.

The dram offers up notes of strawberry, raspberry, sherried dried fruits, salted caramel, brown sugar, cinnamon, maple syrup, nutmeg, prunes, figs, dry oak and cedarwood, a touch of sweet red wine and leather.

Bottled at a warming 54% ABV, this is an intense whisky packed with flavour.
