A flavoursome finished dram from the Lakes distillery in England’s famous Lake District.

This is a blended whisky, combing single malt from the Lakes with a selection of malt and grain drams from across the border in Scotland. The spirit has been finished in first fill Tawny Port casks from Portugal.

The result is a wonderfully fruity and rich dram, with notes of intense dried cherries, plums, raisins, toasted nuts, some subtle wood smoke, dark chocolate, burnt malt, nutmeg, cinnamon, citrus rind, toffee, vanilla, black pepper and grain sweetness.

Bottled at 46.6% ABV, this is a rather warming bottling, with a medium body.
