A bottling that joins together two of our favourite spirits here at FineDrams: Irish whiskey and Rhum Agricole. This whiskey forms another excellent addition to Teeling’s Small Batch Collaborations, joining forces this time with Maritinque distillery Trois Rivières (who have also made a rhum finished in Teeling casks).

This whiskey was aged initially for 6 years in former Bourbon barrels, before spending 6 months in rhum casks.

The result is a whiskey richly flavoured with classic Argicole notes of sweet cane, lime rind, tropical fruit, clear honey, alongside straightforward Irish notes of vanilla, oak, bananas, and caramel.

Bottled at 46% ABV and without chill filtration, the whiskey has a buttery, and satisfying mouthfeel.

An unusual, and rather wonderful whiskey, approachable yet complex.
