Previously a travel retail exclusive, this bottling is a well crafted Fine Champagne Cognac from Rémy Martin.
Back in 2013, Pierrette Trichet, the Rémy Martin Cellar Master, decided to create a range that celebrated the unique aspects of each of the famous Cognac house’s aging cellars.
Cellar No. 28 contains some of Rémy Martin’s oldest casks, which have been carefully positioned in the cooler parts of the underground cellar, for optimum aging. Cognacs from this cellar are known for being particularly fragrant, with a candied fruit profile. This bottling is called “Reserve Cellar Selection” because Cellar No. 28 has always been the resting place of Rémy Martin’s finest eaux-de-vie.
The spirit itself serves up notes of stewed dried fruits, old oak, wax, cloves, leather, orange rind, toffee, slight cinnamon, vanilla custard, walnut, plums, cigar smoke and jammy red fruits.
A magnificent bottling, beautifully presented in Rémy’s classic decanter style bottle.
What a Cognac !! Amazing
