Rémy Martin Carte Blanche à Baptiste Loiseau - Merpins Cellar Edition
70 cl, 44.1%

A cognac of a truly rare quality from one of the most highly regarded producers in the world.

The Carte Blanche series gives Rémy Martin’s Cellar Master Baptiste Loiseau the ability to create Cognac without constraint, choosing from Remy’s deep reserves with impunity to create superb spirits. The only mission he has to work to is to “reveal the quintessence of the Remy Martin style”.

For this bottling, Baptiste Loiseau has used spirit produced exclusively with grapes from the Merpins winery, a tiny 20 hectare lot that holds Remy’s reserve of Fine Champagne eaux-de-vie. The winery contains over 140,000 bottles of eaux-de-vie. The final product has been aged for over 27 years, ensuring that it is a Cognac of extraordinary depth and complexity.

This bottling delivers notes of plums, cloves, ginger, toffee, cinnamon, dried fruits ,dense honey, old oak, musty grapes, dark chocolate, gentle vanilla and pressed flowers.

The Cognac offers a pure flavour of the Fine Champagne grape and eaux-de-vie style.

Bottled at 44.1% ABV and limited to just 9,650 bottles, this is an extraordinary achievement by Baptiste Loiseau and Rémy Martin, and one to be savoured.
