A high quality LBV Port from the Osborne Bodega.
Whilst 2013 wasn’t a vintage year for the whole industry, some vineyards and bodegas were able to produce some exceptional wines, leading to the odd gem to be found here or there.
This is one of them, a 2013 vintage port that has been aged in the barrel for six years, prior bottling in 2019.
The result is a luscious, sweet Port wine that delivers notes of walnuts, ripe plums and red berries, red grapes, toffee, brown sugar, citrus rind, dark chocolate, old oak, faded flowers and vanilla.
A great pairing for creamy or chocolatey desserts. Ready to drink now, but will keep. Decant before drinking.
