A big bottle of a 2006 Vintage Old Pulteney.

Originally released for the travel retail market, this is a marriage of former Bourbon American oak barrels, all filled in 2006, and bottled in 2017.

A great example of Pulteney’s maritime, northern Highland style. The whisky serves up notes of sea spray, salted caramel, toffee, bananas, custard, citrus and flint, with a little warm malt.

Bottled at 46% ABV and without chill filtration, this means the spirit’s creamy mouthfeel remains uninhibited.

A lovely little addition to the Pulteney range, demonstrating the supple quality of this distillery’s spirit.
