The Exception range is reserved for Nusbaumer Distillery’s very finest products.

This eau-de-vie begins with the finest Mirabelle plums that are fermented naturally, prior to the seeds and stones. Mirabelle plums have a yellow skin, and a sweet, honeyed and highly refined flavours.

After fermentation, the spirit is traditionally distilled, before being aged for many years in stainless steel barrels, allowing the eau-de-vie to reach extraordinary complexity and roundness.

The result is an eau-de-vie with notes of very ripe plums, pastries, slight minerals, delicate almonds, plum jam, honey, flowers, vanilla and plum wine.
