A delectable blended malt whisky from giants of Japanese whisky, Nikka.

This ‘Pure Malt’ named after Nikka’s founder, and one of the Godfathers of Japanese whisky, Masataka Taketsuru.

This bottling contains malt whisky from the Yoichi and Miyagikyo, with the 2020 edition said to possess a higher proportion of Yoichi spirit, and therefore a slightly smokier profile, than previous expressions.

The result is a dram that serves up notes of sweet malt, vanilla, apples, pears, toffee, subtle peat smoke, flowers, peaches, plums, oak, raisin loaf and pineapples.

An excellent addition to this long-running expression from Nikka.
