Another classy dram from Dutch outfit the Ultimate Whisky Company.

This Mortlach has been aged for 10 years in a former Bourbon barrel, having been distilled on the 26th of January 2009, and bottled on the 19th of September 2019.

The result is a crisp and intense dram that shows off “The Beast of Dufftown” to full affect. The bottling delivers notes of muscular malt, toffee, a little barrel char, bright oak, vanilla, cherries, popcorn, green apple, berries, cracked black pepper and spice.

Bottled at a fearsome cask strength of 57.6 % ABV and without chill filtration or colouration, this is a natural, full bodied whisky.

Only 304 bottles were produced.
