The first batch of the 2019 series of Macallan’s esteemed Rare Cask series.

This single malt has been aged in a combination of American oak and European oak sherry casks, which are largely first fill.

A classic Macallan bottling, which delivers notes of dried fruits, vanilla, dark honey, ginger, cinnamon spice, dark chocolate, black pepper, oak, citrus peel, cedarwood, dessert wine, apples and toasted malt.

Bottled at 43% ABV for a touch more warmth, this is an old school bottling from the prestigious Speyside distillery.
