Another addition to the Macallan Quest line, which was first released for the Travel Retail market. Each whisky in this series is designed to illustrate the lengthy journeys that Macallan make in sourcing only the very finest casks for their Speyside whiskies.

Whilst this bottling does show off some of that classic Macallan sherried-spice and fruitiness, the emphasis is certainly on the American oak elements, with plenty of toffee and vanilla flavours at the fore here.

Drinkers can expect further notes of dried fruit, citrus peel, cream and orchard fruits from this whisky.

A slightly different style of Macallan, but an extremely delicious dram, nevertheless.
