A much sought after annual release from the esteemed Macallan distillery.

Classic Cut offers a chance to enjoy Macallan’s spirit at a higher proof. When creating this dram, Macallan’s team are given freedom to showcase a different aspect of the distillery’s spirit, making use of its deep reserves of aged stock.

For 2021, Classic Cut has been aged in a combination of former Bourbon barrels, and Sherry-seasoned American oak casks.

The result is classic Macallan: fruity, rich and spicy, with a zing of oily orange zest, light almonds, apples, prunes, oak, gingerbread, vanilla custard, gummy fruit candies and cinnamon.

Bottled at 51% ABV, this is a richer and more intense rendition of this famous distillery’s whisky.
