An unpeated single malt whisky from the prolific Loch Lomond distillery.
Matured for 14 years in three varieties of American oak casks, with a finishing period in French Limousin oak barrels, this is an approachable whisky that maintains its complexity.
This bottling contains spirit that has been distilled in Loch Lomond’s unique straight necked stills – which were originally the famous Lomond stills, that had rectifying plates in the neck of the pot still.
The whisky itself offers notes of pineapple, grapefruit, apples, honey, baking spice, soft wood smoke, oak and vanilla.
Another sign of the inventiveness of this distillery.
