The Machir Bay was first launched in 2012 when it won the IWSC 2012 Gold Award – best in its class. Machir Bay is named after a beach half a mile away from the distillery. The Machir Bay is a marriage of both ex-sherry and ex-bourbon casks, giving it a very good balance rich fruit, smoke and intensely sweet vanilla.
