Kilchoman Machir Bay is the entry level bottling from Islay’s farm distillery.

Machir Bay takes its name from the beautiful, white sand beach that is found close to the distillery. The spirit is matured in a mixture of former Bourbon American oak barrels and Oloroso sherry casks.

The result is a perfectly balanced dram, with notes of dried fruit, baked nuts and spice supplied by the Oloroso casks, and sweeter, vanilla heavy flavours of bright oak. These are supplemented by the classic Kilchoman ashy, warm peat, sea spray and citrus flavours.

Bottled at 46% ABV, and without either chill filtration or artificial colouration, this is a whisky that encapsulates the unerring commitment to quality of Kilchoman.
