Another cracking single cask dram from Taiwanese distillery Kavalan.

This whisky has been matured in former wine American oak casks that have been specially re-charred to provide phenomenal depth of flavour. This dram was distilled on 25th of December 2012, and bottled on the 26th of December 2017. As Taiwan is so hot and humid, spirit matures faster, meaning that even youthful drams like this bottling can serve up plenty of character.

This bottling serves up flavours of mango, citrus rind, vanilla, rich oak, dates, figs, red wine, apples, cinnamon, nutmeg, coconut, some malty sweetness and pastry.

Bottled at a cask strength of 57.8% ABV and without chill filtration or colouration, this is a rich, satisfying whisky.

Just 190 bottles were produced.
