Another cracking Kavalan single cask whisky from their Solist range.

This whisky was distilled on the 21st of June 2012, and bottled on 2nd of October 2018, having aged in a single sherry cask. Kavalan is found in Taiwan, and here the climate and humidity mean that whisky matures at an accelerated rate, producing an intense, flavoursome whisky at a young age.

The final product is a dram that serves up notes of intense dried fruits, cooked strawberries, vanilla, dark oak, toffee, grapes, apples, dark chocolate, cinnamon, nutmeg, slight chilli, cedarwood, honey, peppery spice and charred malt.

Bottled at a hefty cask strength of 57.8% ABV, this bottling is free from chill filtration or colouration, ensuring a natural and intense drinking experience.

Only 526 bottles were produced.
