Another delicious 2008 vintage sherried whisky from Kavalan, as part of their Solist series of single barrel whiskies.

This whisky was drawn from cask number 24, and was bottled in November 2017 at about 8 years old. Having been aged in sherry casks, the whisky possesses a superb fruity, spicy flavour alongside Kavalan’s hallmark tropical fruit notes.

The result is a dram that delivers notes of pineapple, mango, banana, walnut, toffee, sweet malt, cherry, prunes, sweet sherry, dried fruits, cinnamon, hazelnut and cloves.

The whisky is bottled at 59.4% ABV and without chill filtration or colouration, ensuring the drinker gets the full benefit of its natural flavours.

Only 487 bottles were produced worldwide.
