Another excellent single cask whisky from Taiwanese distillery Kavalan’s Solist range.

This bottling has been aged in a Port cask for seven years, having been distilled on the 29th of September 2010, and bottled on the 14th of December 2017.

The result is a luscious, rich and sweet whisky with notes of jammy red fruits, dessert wine, caramel, dark oak, bright malt, grilled pineapple, dark chocolate, vanilla, espresso, cinnamon, cloves, orange rind and slight chilli powder.

An intense drinking experience, this whisky has been bottled at a fearsome cask strength of 57.8% ABV. The spirit is also entirely natural, having been presented without chill filtration or colouration.

Just 203 bottles were produced.
