Originally released as a limited edition and travel retail exclusive, the Jack Daniel’s No.27 Gold is matured in two distinctly different types of casks, and charcoal filtered twice for a “double mellowing”. After an initial maturation in new American white oak casks, It is transferred to maple barrels for a second maturation, giving this whisky extra smoothness and notes of maple.
