A lovely little bottling from Highland Park, Scotland’s most northerly distillery. Originally designed for the travel retail market, luckily we managed to get hold of a few bottles.

This is a heavily sherried Highland Park, having been aged in first fill sherry casks. This brings a wonderful depth of flavour to the classic Highland Park profile of heather peat smoke, toffee, sea spray and citrus fruits. The sherry cask maturation adds deep flavours of chocolate, dried fruit, Christmas spices and sweet wine.

A wonderfully well-balanced dram, this offers up the dark richness that the packaging and dramatic title evoke. “The Voyage of the Raven” celebrates the esteem in which Vikings held Ravens.
