Another striking and delicious new release from Highland Park. This whisky forms part of a duo which celebrates the seasons of Orkney, with this bottling representing autumn and winter, and 2018’s “the Light” marking spring and summer.

This 17 year old is named “the Dark”, and has been matured in exclusively former sherry European oak casks. This maturation has given beautiful sweet, herbaceous and dried fruit notes, which lend complexity to the Highland Park house style of oily, coastal notes and smoky peat.

The spirit is bottled at a robust proof of 52.9% ABV, and is non chill filtered, ensuring its luscious, rich flavours can fully express themselves.

Presented with typical Highland Park flair, this whisky is limited to 28,000 bottles worldwide.
