A highly anticipated release from Scotland’s most northern distillery. This whisky is a vatting containing 80% sherried malt, all of which if from first-fill casks- a whopping 60% of which are European oak! The bottle was designed to reflect the origin story of the distillery, evoking the night time antics of distillery founder, and noted smuggler, Magnus Eunson. This also accounts for the mysterious hooded figure on the packaging of the whisky. The spirit itself is rich with lovely dark chocolate highlights, some fruit, a slight pepperiness and typical Highland Park woodsmoke. A great bottle for any fans of this remarkable distillery!
