Graham’s are esteemed as one of the very best port-makers in the industry, and are the last family owned British Port company, with the Symington family having been in charge since 1970.

Since the style emerged in the ‘60s, Late Bottled Vintage Port (or LBV for short) has acquired an excellent reputation for offering great value for money amongst both critics and drinkers. Graham’s make one of the best, with this 2014 vintage an excellent example.

The wine has been produced using Sousao and Touriga Nacional grapes, gathered in the 2014 harvest. Graham’s ensure that only the very best fruit go in to their LBV, which they say allows them to bottle even in non-vintage years.

Aged for five years in oak casks, this maturation has allowed the wine to develop deep, woody complexity.

The result is a Port rich in flavours of delicate rosewater, black fruits, cinnamon, pepper, oak, rich red grapes and brown sugar.

A perfect pairing for creamy cheese or dark chocolate.
