A cracking single cask dram from the Glenglassaugh distillery.

This whisky has been aged for 9 years in a single Bourbon barrel, having been filled in 2011.

The final product is a rich, oily whisky with notes of roasted malt, vanilla, oak, custard, white pepper, plums, pineapple, citrus rind, cherry, almonds and milk chocolate.

Really impressive stuff, and complex beyond its years.

The spirit is presented at a cask strength of 57.1% ABV, with only 245 bottles drawn.
