A fascinating single malt whisky from the coastal distillery, Glenglassaugh.

This dram has been aged in a combination of former Bourbon barrels, sherry casks and manzanilla casks in Glenglassaugh’s seaside warehouse. This maturation has produced a fruity whisky, with a hint of maritime influence.

Drinkers should expect notes of pineapple, waxy orange rind, apples, peaches, mango, toasted nuts, sea spray, toffee, lemon juice, white chocolate, papaya, pear in wine syrup and drying oak.

Superb - and punchy at an ABV of 50.5%.
