A 1981 vintage of Glenfarclas, released for their highly lauded Family Cask range in the autumn of 2014. It spent the entirety of its maturation in a single plain butt (cask no. 1603), and was bottled on the 14th of July, 2014, with a yield of just 529 bottles, all presented at cask strength. Just look at the colour of this thing- utterly impressive for a “plain butt”!
