This vintage release of Glen Garioch is comprised of both first and 2nd-fill bourbon barrels. These barrels were filled in 1997—the first year after the distillery had been silent for 2 years. Judging by the quality of this non-chillfiltered and natural colour whisky, they didn’t forget how to make great whisky in those 2 years!
