The latest batch of Elijah Craig’s much lauded and sought after Barrel Proof bourbon.

This is batch A120, and has been aged for 12 years in new American oak casks, having been distilled by Heaven Hill. This dram weighs in at a fearsome 68.3% ABV.

The spirit itself offers luscious, fat flavours of prunes, intense powdered cinnamon, chilli, buttered bread, toffee, some peppermint and flint, chocolate covered raisins, peanut brittle, charred oak and vanilla custard.

A seriously thick and intense Bourbon.
