A superb cask strength whiskey from Heaven Hill’s popular Elijah Craig range.

This Bourbon has been aged for 12 years in new, charred American oak, and was bottled in September 2021. The spirit is made with Heaven Hill’s classic Bourbon mashbill of 78% corn, 12% malted barley and 10% rye.

This particular edition offers notes of funky oak, tobacco leaf, baking spices, charred wood, cornbread with honey, nutmeg, rye spice and herbs, caramel, apples, cedarwood, cloves, faint flavours of cherry, a little drying wood and vanilla.

Bottled at 60.1% ABV, this is less intense than some previous bottling in the Barrel Proof range, but still remains a full bodied and robust Elijah Craig.
