Another magnificent addition to El Dorado’s Rare Collection series.

This series bottles single still vintage rums from Diamond Distillery’s iconic and unique Enmore, Port Mourant and Versailles stills.

The bottling we have here was produced in the Enmore EHP still, back in 1993. Named after Edward Henry Porter, the original owner of Enmore estate, where the still was initially erected in 1832. This wooden still is unique in the rum world, and creates a distinctive spirit for Diamond Distillery, usually used in conjunction with other rums in their popular El Dorado range.

This rum was bottled in 2015, having been aged for 21 years in oak casks under tropical conditions in Guyana. The final result is an intensely dark and chocolatey rum, with notes of thick chocolate covered raisins, banana, heavy brown sugar, dried mango and pineapple, dark leather, cinnamon, oak, vanilla, slight woodsmoke, tannic red wine, coffee and treacle tart.

Bottled at a cask strength of 56.6% ABV, this is an assertive, full bodied rum.

Just 3,000 bottles were produced.
