A delightful rum from Guyanese distillery El Dorado.
Unlike most white rums, this bottling has undergone quite a prolonged aging process, of three years in former Bourbon American oak casks.
The spirit is then filtered for clarity. This rum is using sugar from the Skeldon and Blairmont estates, producing a well-rounded sweetness.
The rum serves up incredible character and flavour for a white rum, with dense creamy vanilla, with bright coconut flavours and some slightly dry tropical fruits.
A terrific base for all manner of tiki and Caribbean cocktails, adding a lot more of character than one would expect.
