A lovely, easy drinking cask-finished blended whisky from Dewar’s.

This whisky forms part of the brand’s 8 Cask series, which offers a taste of the famous blend in different cask finishes. Fascinatingly, this bottling has been finished in casks that previously held French Apple Brandy (Calvados) after an initial maturation of 8 years.

The end result is a blended Scotch whisky that offers notes of sweet green apples, sour apple candies, cinnamon, lemon rind, vanilla, toffee, toasted nuts, charred oak, maple syrup, nutmeg and baked apple pie.

Fabulously fruity – this makes great whisky cocktails.
