A wonderful 15 year old single malt from the Craigellachie distillery, bottled as part of Gordon & MacPhail ’Reserve’ range. It was picked by Han and Maurice Van Wees of the big, Dutch whisky importer, Van Wees. These whiskies are purchased as new make by Gordon & MacPhail, and then left to mature, either at the distillery or at the Gordon & MacPhail warehouse.

This Craigellachie was matured in refill American hogshead (Cask no. 115), and bottled with an outturn of just 274 bottles. It was distilled on the 26th of November, 1997, and bottled in August, 2013.
