A 2008 vintage, the spirit was distilled on the 27th of May 2008 and bottled on the 25th of April 2017, having been matured in a single Hogshead (cask number 310355) for 8 years.

Bottled at an incredible 57.9% ABV, this is certainly a whisky that pulls no punches. But those who ventured beyond that high proof will be rewarded with an intense and enjoyable drinking experience.

A classic Caol Ila, this bottling is rich in grassy peat noes, with some supple stone fruit, hot spices, vanilla, barrel char, and nutmeg.

Bottled without chill filtration or artificial colouration, this whisky is as natural as could be without drinking straight from the cask.

Just 313 bottles were produced, so drinkers should move fast if they want to enjoy this powerfully peaty dram.
