A lovely Bunnahabhain bottling from Signatory Vintage’s Cask Strength range.
This Islay dram has been aged in a single first fill sherry butt for 12 years, having been distilled on the 13th of February 2007, and bottled on the 10th of October 2019.
The result is a rich, buttery, sherried whisky that offers notes of dark oak, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, anise, black tea, slight sea spray, chocolate malt, vanilla, figs, raisins, cream, dark honey, peppery spice, slight chilli and leather.
This dram is presented at a punchy cask strength of 58.1% ABV, and without chill filtration or colouration.
Just 587 bottles were produced.
