A cracking and extremely intense Signatory Cask Strength bottling from Islay distillery Bunnahabhain.

This dram was distilled on the 7th of March 2009 and bottled on the 11th of February 2020, having spent 10 years maturing in a single first fill sherry butt.

Bunnahabhain is known for producing a distinctive, unpeated style of Islay whisky. This bottling shows off the house characteristics of the distillery perfectly, offering notes of briny lemon rind, grassy malt, burnt oak, raisins, prunes, vanilla, dark chocolate, espresso, toffee, cinnamon, slight chilli, menthol, nuts and cloves.

The dram is presented at an explosive 68.5% ABV and without chill filtration or colouration, ensuring an incredibly powerful palate and full body.
