The first batch of the 2010 Cask Strength Vintage from Benromach distillery.

This dram has been aged in first-fill hogshead casks until 2021, and then bottled at a feisty cask strength of 58.5% ABV.

The final product is a fruity, spicy whisky, with notes of butterscotch, nuts, sherried oak, malted barley, apple pie, vanilla, milk chocolate, gentle smoke and nutmeg.

A very impressive dram from the small Speyside distillery.
