An incredibly rare bottling from tiny Speyside distillery, Benromach.

This 40 year old bottling was released in late 2018, having been aged in a single refill sherry hogshead, number 2608. 1970s Benromach is well known for its quality, and this bottling is no exception.

The result of this extremely long maturation is a marvelous whisky, packed with deep sherried flavours. Drinkers should expect notes of dark dried fruits: prunes and sultanas especially, old oak, leather, treacle, dark chocolate, mixed spice, toffee, pear, ginger and the faintest hint of peat smoke.

Bottled at 56.3% ABV, this dram has maintained its strength remarkably well given its age. It is presented without chill filtration or colouration, ensure that the full flavours of the whisky can be enjoyed.

Each bottle comes with its own wooden presentation box.

Just 184 bottles were produced worldwide, so supply is extremely limited.
