Following on from sister distillery Glendronach’s extraordinarily popular Cask Strength series is BenRiach Cask Strength. This is the first release from this series, and it lives up to the billing with a formidable strength of 57.2%. Each release is also natural in colour and without chill filtration. The bottle continues the high standards set both by BenRiach’s other releases and by Glendronach’s cask strength range. This bottling is a wonderful example of a strong Speyside style, with rich flavours of honey, hay and malt throughout. Particularly impressive are the highlights of almonds and toasted coconut, creamy custard and apricots. A powerful and delicious dram.
