A lovely little bottling of cult distillery Ben Nevis from Signatory Vintage’s Un-Chillfiltered range.

This dram was distilled on the 4th of March 2011, and bottled on the 10th of June 2020, having been aged in a pair of Bourbon barrels for 9 years.

The final result is a lovely Bourbon cask dram which shows of Ben Nevis’s chewy, malty house style. Drinkers can expect notes of buttery yeasted buns, milk chocolate, cinnamon, caramel, vanilla, toasted malt, pineapple, red apples and bright oak.

Bottled at 46% ABV and without chill filtration or colouration, this is a well structured and creamy whisky.

A tasty little number that will appeal to fans of this old fashioned distillery.
