First released for the travel retail, this is a rich bourbon-matured whisky which displays all the classic hallmarks of excellent Balblair whisky. The house style of the distillery is clearly on show, with strong notes of light vanilla custard, apples and pears, and orange and lemon rind. As always with Balblair, the whisky has been bottled by “vintage” rather than age statement, and is both non chill filtered and natural in colour.
