Bache-Gabrielsen was founded in 1905, when Norwegian Thomas Bach-Gabrielson fell in love with a French woman and moved to the nation, establishing this Cognac house. The company remains family run.
This Cognac is made with two thirds Grande Champagne grapes, with the final third consisting of Fins Bois and Petite Champagne fruit. Distilled in traditional Alembics, the Cognac has been aged for a minimum of 6 years.
The result is an XO Cognac rich in flavours of pressed flowers, raisins, vanilla, honey, toffee, dark chocolate, oak, espresso, and leather.
An extremely popular Cognac in the Nordic market, and with good reason.
