A limited edition dram from Arran’s Lochranza distillery, forming part of their Rare Batch series.

This single malt whisky has been aged for 15 years in French oak casks from the Argonne forest, that had previously held wine from a traditional winemaker, near the village of Ay. Casks of this kind are extremely rare.

The whisky offers up notes of cedarwood, white grapes, fresh apples, flowers, orange rind, nutmeg, vanilla, brioche, spicy oak and mango.

Bottled at 53.5% ABV, just 3,060 bottles were produced.
