This dram has been matured in Bourbon barrels and sherry casks, before a finishing period in Limousin oak casks. In total, this whisky has been aged for 10 years.
Forest Reserve offers up notes of fresh flowers, lemon peel, red berries, plums, vanilla, raisins, melons, nuts, charred oak, ginger, black pepper, oats, chopped herbs, fresh pastry and milk chocolate.
This bottling takes its name from Aberlour’s ongoing commitment to help preserve the forest in Speyside.
