A terrific 2018 bottling from Japanese whisky giant Nikka’s Yoichi distillery.

This bottling was released especially for the European market. The whisky has been finished in first fill former Bourbon casks, giving the whisky a rich vanilla and wood spice flavour.

This single malt serves up plenty of classic Yoichi flavours of juicy melon, mellow peat smoke, crunchy malt, tobacco and gentle chocolate, alongside some more aggressive Bourbon notes of dense vanilla custard, cinnamon, cornbread, pastry, caramel, cream, nutmeg, cloves, walnuts, banana, and honey.

Bottled at 46% ABV for added warmth and body, this is a luxurious and opulent Japanese whisky.

We do not expect this bottling to hang around for long!
