Worthy Park has long been beloved by rum connoisseurs for its classic Jamaican profile. The distillery first started producing way back in 1741 (the estate was – as the bottle suggests – established in 1670), but closed in the 1960s until its rebuilding in 2004. Until now it had only been available to drink in independent bottlings.

This beauty of a bottling is packed with oily nuts, tropical fruits, ripe banana, toffee, molasses, spun sugar, coffee, coconut and lime rind. Bottled at a generous 45% ABV, this is a powerful rum.

A tropical explosion, and a welcome return from one of Jamaica’s most well-storied distilleries.
