An interesting take on the classic Rhum Agricole from Martinique distillery Trois Rivières.

This spirit has been initially in French oak casks for 18 months, before a finishing period in single malt whisky casks from the French Rozelieures distillery.

The rum serves up notes of warm bread, caramel, pastry, honey, slight woodsmoke, vanilla, oak, malt, fresh cane, lime juice, melon and coconut.

A great option for adding depth and complexity to rum cocktails, this is also very enjoyable sipped neat.
