Produced in the West Cork distillery, this is the official whiskey of one of Irish punk’s most rebellious bands. Lead singer Shane MacGowan once sung “I am going, I am going / Where streams of whiskey are flowing” and it appears he has completed his journey with the release of this marvellous Irish blended whiskey. This whiskey really presents a typical Irish style, with a core of grain notes, a light nuttiness and gentle sweetness. A little raw, which reflects the band’s style very well!
